Clerk Linda Douglass announced that petition packets will be available for pickup 8A-1P and 2P-5P on 10-28-08 through 1-26-09 at Village Hall for the April 7, 2009 election. The number of signatures required before submitting the petition for filing is available from the Clerk.

PRE-FILING NOTICE
The office of Village Clerk Linda Douglass will be open from 8A-5P beginning Jan. 20, 2009 through Jan. 26, 2009 for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions or certificates for the Independent Election to be held on Apr. 7, 2009 for the following 5 offices:
1 - Village President-4 yr. term
1 - Village Clerk-4 yr. term
3 - Trustee positions-4 yr. terms

operates with a Village President as CEO
and a Board of Trustees as the keepers of
 the laws within the Village.

Gordon D. Jumper is the Village President (1997-present).  Our community of 3,500 is located in Central Illinois, just north of the intersection at I-72 and Route 67 in Morgan County, Illinois.
