Code Enforcement Officer Ron Walls (right), died on 9-7-07. 

John Green is the acting building inspector and is temporarily assisting residents who need permits or information on enforcement of  building and property use codes. He is available during the business hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Village Hall. Contact Mr. Green in Village Hall or by calling (217) 243-1599.

Find out before construction or renovation begins whether a building/plumbing permit is required.  There are important sources of information available when considering the building/plumbing process such as Zoning Ordinances, the Subdivision Manual and the Developer's Guide.
